Crowded Weekend

In anticipation of many visitors this coming Easter weekend, we'd like to encourage all our regular NorthPoint attenders to consider joining us for worship at the earlier service (9:30 am). Typically, there is a bit more room for parking and seating. Just think, it'll give you extra time to seek out all the hidden eggs before everyone else at your family gatherings!

Easter Egg Hunt

Don't forget one of our biggest outreaches of the year: our 6th Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 7 at McGregor Elementary School. Registration for the hunt begins at 9:00 am. As parking is limited at the school, we encourage all NorthPoint regular attenders to park at the church and catch the bus over, which starts at 7:30 am with pick-ups every 10 minutes.

Discover Your Spiritual Gifts

Have you ever wondered what your spiritual gifts are? Come and discover your God-given spiritual gifts and ministry passions at a 6-week course held on Wednesday nights, beginning April 25 at 7:00 pm. This Willow Creek course has helped over one million people discover their spiritual gifts. Taught the biblical nature and purpose of the church as the body of Christ and the unique importance of each member's contribution, each participant will work through a series of assessments, leading them to an awareness of their unique blend of spiritual gifts, personal style, and ministry passions. Women of Faith

We have just 10 tickets left for the conference in Columbus on April 27-28 (Friday evening and all day Saturday). This is a great opportunity for womn to fellowship together in a fun environment. The cost is $45, plus $8 for lunch on Saturday. Contact info@discoverthepoint.org for more details.

Men's Softball

Once again NorthPoint will be participating in the Men's Spring/Summer League at Maumee's Rolf Park. Games will be played Sunday nights at 4:30 and 5:45 pm, beginning May 6. Practices start Sunday, April 15. If you are interested in playing, please contact pastorbrad@discoverthepoint.org. The cost is $55 per player.

Administrative Assistant

We are currently seeking someone whose purpose will be to oversee all activities of the church office and to provide the staff and ministry leaders with administrative support, allowing them to focus on their areas of ministry. Check out the job description then contact Paul Beauch.

Cunninghams

Several months ago, Kevin and Christine Cunningham, who are serving as missionaries in Colombia, visited us here at NorthPoint. Host an IWT Member

We have 120 missionaries who will be coming to Toledo and will be needing accommodations from April 23 to May 13. If you can spare a bed and prepare a simple breakfast for one to three weeks, please let us know, and also if you have a vehicle to lend. For more info, contact Vonda Hogle or Stacy Rankin.

Bake Sale

To help raise funds for the mission trip to Guatemala, there will be a bake sale on Sunday, March 18. If you would like to donate baked goods, contact the office. Remember to continue praying for the trip in August.

Step Up

This new prayer team will be available at the end of each worship service to pray for ayone who has need. If you'd like to know how you can get involved, contact the office.

1st Impression Team

Jesus calls every member of the church into ministry (1 Peter 2:9). As an usher, you could be a servant of hospitality and caring in the church. We are in need of additional ushers/greeters for both services. If you are interested, contact the office for more info.

Picture Directory

NorthPoint is partnering with Olan Mills Photography to publish a picture directory. We'd love to have your family included in our directory. Please sign up for an appointment on the sheets in the hall. Sign-up will close Sunday, March 4. Each family that participates will receive a free 8x10 glossy print.

International Missions Opportunity

NorthPoint is partnering with Bridges International, an extension of Campus Crusade for Christ to reach International students right here in Toledo at the UT Campus. We’re looking for 2-5 people who would be willing to plan and host one event per month for March, April, and May. Bridges International will provide a home with the financial resources for any events you plan. What a great opportunity to impact 20-40 students from all over the world! Annual Easter Egg Hunt

It’s time to begin preparing for NorthPoint’s biggest community outreach of the year and we cannot do it without you! The 2007 Easter Egg Hunt will be here before you know it. This is our chance to reach out to our neighborhood and show them the presence of Christ.

Upcoming dates:

• Saturday, March 31 from 9:00 am to noon — stuffing 15,000 plastic eggs


• Saturday, April 7 — Easter Egg Hunt
  

We will begin collecting wrapped candy that will fit inside of a plastic egg and fun prizes next Sunday.

AGENCY ON AGING:
NorthPoint is partnering with this agency to provide companionship and/or financial assistance for area seniors who are in need. You can be a part of this ministry by adding your name to a database of people to be contacted when a need is brought to us. Contact Tom Drummonds for more details or to sign-up. PANERA BREAD MINISTRY:
Our bread ministry meets every Wednesday morning at 9:30am here at NP to package and distribute bread to inner-city homeless shelters. If you are interested in getting involved in this ministry, please contact Daneen Duncan at 419.381.2105 or at daneenduncan@msn.com.

IMPACT WORLD TOUR:
IWT is coming to our region in April and May. There will be two nights of events at Whitmer High School and two nights at Savage Hall. Our prayer is that at the end of this campaign, hundreds or even thousands will have come to know Jesus. Our mission is then to see them get involved and continue to grow as followers of Jesus in a local church. We're asking everyone to help by serving in one of three ways: Pray, Give, or Serve!
